Forest
fires, caused by human activities or by natural circumstances which can lead to fire
in the air pollution impact. Forest fires cause various adverse effects through several aspects,
such as health problems,
hampering daily activities, the threat
of erosion, and global warming. Forest
fires can be local, regional, or
global.
One of the causes of air pollution
in Indonesia is
frequent of forest fires. Forest fires are common
in the forests. Forest
fires are a disaster that continues to happen
every year. Large-scale
forest fires is a phenomenon that became a regular
trend in the last
20 years. The level of air pollution in Indonesia has become increasingly serious. Even the World Bank has determined that Indonesia has the third highest pollution levels in the world. World Bank also establish Jakarta as the city with the highest pollutant levels after Beijing, New Delhi, and Mexico City.
Air pollution is very Harmful to the human body. Particles - particles Become Pollutants that have a smaller size of the dust making it easier to get in and stick in our bodies. Examples are gas CO (carbon monoxide) that can hinder the performance of red blood cells in transporting O2 (Oxygen) so that the body can lead to lack of oxygen can encourage the onset of various diseases. In addition, levels of Pb (lead) high in the air can also damage red blood cells for people who breathe so that it can lead to anemia.
So, we can conclude that air pollution caused by the burning of forest is all
influential, such as health care that get adverse effects. Animals and plants
all burnt and can’t update anymore. There are steps to overcome forest fires:
1.)
Reforestation;
2.)
Stop
the continuous burn of forest;
3.)
Formed
periodically move greening;
4.)
Conduct
selective logging on a regular basis.
